High system temperature. ?
I got:

I am receiving notices that my system is too high, around 67-68 degrees...
What i have checked is that all fans are working, and they do.
I have calibrated the fans twice, no change.
Ambient temperature is around 23 degrees.
Is there a way to set minimum fan speed? ( i don't have a problem with noise... )
Regards...

- EtzAspirantMaybe you just have to clean cooling rads from dust?
There isnt such an addon for x86 units... - viperhansaVirtuosoActually, i want it higher!
I have ssh so where do i put the minimum value? :-)
And the nas is taken down twice a year for cleaning.... so its not that... - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredI don't think that there's the option to make such a change.
What firmware is on the disks (e.g. CC3D)? You can check by clicking the SMART+ button for each disk.
The Pro Business Edition has a 5 year warranty. You may wish to open a tech support case. - EtzAspirant

Actually there is, but I wouldnt recommend it, as it involves tinkering with /frontview/bin/setup_sensors which is used to create /ramfs/enclosure.cfg
Definately "best way" to brick your unit completely, if you mess that up. Also it isnt usual "plain txt" file so its really easy to screw that completely up.
And I also believe that, changing anything in it definately denies anykind of support and probably voids warranty also...
As a side note, for PC`s and electronics, there is always better to find a root cause of high temperatuers then just cranking up the fans. ;) - viperhansaVirtuoso

Hi mdgm..
3 are cc3c and 3 are cc32. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredWhile this would be a separate issue to the system temperature issue, you should have a read of this: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=64510
- viperhansaVirtuosoHi again..
I tested ALL drives on Seagate supportpage and it only states this:
A field update is not available for this serial number. See if Certificate below. Please help us to improve the Download Finder
I did all serials with the model paired...
No change. No updates...
I have been running this setup for around ~6 months and haven't had and drives dropping out. ( cross my fingers )
And reading this http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=63698&start=90#p373789 does not make me happier either... - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredJust wanted to make sure you were aware of this issue.
Users that have an up to date backup of important should be fine anyway.
