How do you specify guest share as a SMB source for backup?
For Windows shares of group 'Everyone' I am enable to create a Frontview backup job without specifying a real userid/password.
I think I used to be able to leave it blank.
For other places, like Windows Backup I have specified user 'Guest', with a password of a single space; that doesn't work either.
So how do I create a backup job from an open Windows share?
I'd prefer not to have passwords in the Frontview jobs.
OS 6.9.5.

Of course the security consequence when you allow anonymous access is that anyone on the network can access the files on the PC.
There is some guidance here that might help: https://superuser.com/questions/1300639/how-to-create-anonymous-share-on-windows-10

Only the files on that share, and in this case read-only.
Thanks for the link, it was this bit that did the job:
run
gpedit.msc, go to Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options, change the value ofNetwork access: Sharing and security model for local accountstoguest only
