How to setup ReadyNAS 104 WITHOUT USING ReadyCLOUD?

You can find the I.P. address in multiple different ways:
- Momentarily press power button and the LCD on the NAS should turn on and show the I.P. address
- looking for the MAC address of the ethernet port in the NAS using your router's attached devices list.
- You can use RAIDar (note this is a local discovery tool that requires Java). It is not necessary to use RAIDar but it is a useful tool.

All you really need to do is turn on the NAS with blank disks installed. Then browse to https://nasipaddress/admin. If it prompts for account credentials use admin/password.

Yeah, just to follow up with what others have already stated, you don't need to use ReadyCLOUD at all. Just add the disk, power, and then hit the admin page. Configure how you want and off you go to the races. UI is pretty straight forward to boot.
