Install a second Hard Disk into the NetGear ReadyNAS cabinet
I need some help.... I have connected my ReadyNAS to my router and already installed a 500 Gb Tishiba disc inside,...its working fine. Now I want to add a 2 Tb WD disc, but the system can't seam to find it..... The light in the front is "blinking" green color. Can anyone tell me what to do,....please.....

Do you see the second disk in the web admin interface of the NAS? The system could be doing a resync to add the disk to your array.

Hi Pornlapas,
To know the status of the newly added disk, either you open the device admin page (frontview) or the RAIDar utility in your PC. If the disk LED is blinking, probably it's doing a resync.

The light in the front has stoped blinking and in the admin...online, I can see both disks in green status,....looks ok....
BUT, I still cant use it, its just the other disk that shows on my macbook desktop.......
There is another disk showing, but then I have to usa a password,....and I have no clue about witch one.....
