Memory Upgrade For ReadyNAS 100-104

I hope this is the right place to post this, I APOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE IF IT IS NOT.
I just bought a ReadyNAS 104 and I want to increase the memory, but I haven't been able to open the case to do so.

Can someone please help me?

I would like to use some 2 GB DDR2 SODIMS left over from my MacBook upgrade if possible. I need to get the case open first.

ALL ADVICE IS GRATEFULLY ACCEPTED, THIS IS MY FIRST NAS.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND ASSISTANCE.

I'm not certain about the RN1xx, but the other ReadyNAS ARM systems have the memory soldered on. So I am thinking it is quite unlikely that you can add RAM.

If it is possible, it would void the warranty.
  • It is likely the same board as the Duo v2, with upgraded CPU. Which means it is soldered on, no upgrades possible.
