Migration from Ultra2 to RN214, Drive swop

The drive formatting is not compatible, so you will need to copy your data off to external storage if you want to reuse your existing drives.

Many thanks. I think that my strategy will be then to run the new 214 with a single new drive, transfer the data from the Ultra and then swop the two Ultra drives into the 214 and reformat them. Can anyone envisage any snags ?

That should work, assuming no disk errors during the expansion.
Though I'd get new disks myself (perhaps larger) and use the ultra2 to back up critical files on the RN214.
