NAS getting antivirus update error
Dear All
Can you help me with this problem :
System: Antivirus scanner definition file update failed due to download failure. Check your Internet connection.
My NAS model is ReadyNAS 4312 and firmware 6.10.3

Update your OS version. That's a know issue fixed in the current OS, with lots of posts about it here in the forum.

When I try to update OS from 6.10.1 then it says :
"Your system is currently running the latest firmware. Your system does not need a firmware update"
I have attached screenshot as well
Also I followed this solution :
but after this on antivirus I am getting this error :
"Updating virus library. Refresh to update status"

Check the update setting (system->settings->update in the web ui).
I am thinking yours might be set to "long term stable".
Either change it to "stable" and try again, or manually install the firmware from https://kb.netgear.com/000064345/ReadyNAS-OS-6-Software-Version-6-10-6
