Nas is not booking after latest firmware update

After the firmware update it was fine up untill today were it failed to boot, the power light is just flashing (Im sure its just failing to boot)

 

I have tried to reinstall the OS but his did not work did a little more looking around and there was the OS6 Recovery Tool but can't get it to work, i can select everything else exept the Firmware image

 

Nas Type: RN102

Drive Space: 2X2TB

Firmware Update: 6.6.1

  • Then you didn't follow the USB Boot Recovery instructions. In any case this doesn't sound like an issue that USB Boot Recovery is likely to fix.

    Have you been getting any SMART errors on your disks?

    Have you tried powering down, removing your disks, hooking them up to your PC and testing them e.g. using SeaTools for SeaGate disks and WD Data LifeGuard Diagnostics for WD disks?

      On one of the disks but a have ordered a repalcement for it the other disk is fine
