Netgear ReadyNas 104

Hello 

Iam Joy recently i purchase a Netgear ReadyNas 104 for my office. Now Iam facing a problem to configure user permission. I want my client access my NAS without write permission. Its mean they will only read and paste their file.

Q2: Yesterday i was configure RAiD5 but after one or half hour it was show me harddisk 1 or 2 are not connected. 

please help me .....................

    If you purchased a new unit, you have 90 day phone support.  You should use it on this one.

    If the client doesn't have an account on the NAS, then go to the "network" tab in the share settings, and set "everyone" to read-only access.

     

    If the client does have an account, then you can do something similar by setting the client's group to read-only access - leaving the owner as full access.
