Can I use ext4 fs on Raid-1? Netgear ReadyNAS 212/214 support ext4 filesystem for internal raid volume?
If it doesn't support what model can it?

All currently shipping ReadyNAS use BTRFS for the filesystem. There is no option to use EXT4 instead.
I've been using BTRFS since OS 6 ReadyNAS came out in 2013. I have found it to be reliable (note that Netgear isn't using the RAID-like features built into BTRFS, instead they are using mdadm to provide RAID). I also find the BTRFS snapshots to be useful.
It is true that RAID recovery tools for BTRFS are more expensive at the moment. But RAID isn't enough to keep your data safe anyway (no matter what RAID mode and file system you use). If you have a proper backup plan you won't need data recovery.
