WOW, a disabled Jumbo file’s on the NAS and un- installed ReadyNas Remote re-installed it and , Yes on my Windows 10 PC the NAS and the USB drive connected to the Router R7000 pop-up !
I even can read and write on the shared folders… on the NAS and on the USB drive.
Was the check box for Jumbo files the issue ?

4.1.14 is the newest non-beta for your NAS. I was asking partly to confirm that you have a v1.
Have you tried putting your restricted user into a different group (perhaps "restricted"). Then
-set the default access for the restricted share to "disabled"
-enter the non-restricted group on "write-enabled group" line.
-make sure that guest access is not checked.
All this would be done from the admin web UI, not windows.
You will need to confirm that the windows system is using the correct credentials when you test access. It might be convenient to use the windows command prompt-
enter "cmd" in the start box, and it should launch a black test box. type
net use * /delete
net use t: \\nasipaddress\sharename /user:username userpassword
if access is allowed, windows will mount the share as drive letter T. Be sure to enter both lines when you want to switch to a different user (the first will disconnect any existing sessions).

Finally after hours and hours changing settings it is working !
This on behave of the forum members !
I changed the settings on the users and account page: the second checkbox off
Then I changed the setting of the share’s default off.
All the users that have rights and the group rights form reading and writing.
It’s all fixed, especially the command for logging off the user was very helpful.
If I look back to the Netgear manual then it’s not clear what you have do and how everything is working.
But It is fixed, and that’s the most important, Thanks to the forum members again.
