I hear ya and that's always been my belief as well. A NAS is not a backup solution. I've been meaning to get this NAS backed up for a while. I'm already kicking myself for not doing it already. I shouldn't have waited until something bad happened. However, that's not doing me any good right now. I just hope Netgear is able to recover my data.
