i recently bought a NV+. Is it possible to upgrade the memory with a so-dimm?

it is a V1 NV+ - O.K. You could replace the memory (not supported). There are replacement instructions in the FAQ. Get memory that matches the specs and physical appearance of the stock module as closely as possible.
