Plex and my readynas 102 and access
Hi
Ive had my ready nas for a while but im not a silled user. recently when logging in to the drive it tells me it cant check for updates also when i click on plex it cant see my media server. my tv can find the server. so im not sure whats going on. can anyone help me please?
if its any help im on plusnet and use their hub

Do you have a static IP address configured on the NAS?
If so, you likely forgot to configure the DNS servers.

Thanks for your reply. if you mean on the network settings of my hub, yes ive set the nas drive to be static ip. How would I configure the settings?

In the admin page, go to Network then click the gear icon of the active ETH then click Settings. Under IPv4, you will see DNS servers, add 8.8.8.8.
