Power Supply - RR4312

I'm setting up a ReadyNas 4312 & 3312 with 12 hard drives each.  Each RN has two power supplies.  Do both power supplies need to be always plugged-in?

Thanks.

The power supplies are redundant, so you only need one.  But you'll probably get an alarm if one isn't plugged in unless you remove it (at least enough to disengage).  I know that to be the case with the older 3200/4200 systems.
