Power Supply replacement compatibility
I do believe the power supply in my Infrant ReadyNAS RNV1-S2-0000 has died. I bought it in October 2006 from Newegg. The power supply died once before and [then] Infrant replaced it. Now it looks like it's my turn turn to replace it. I've spent a lot of time researching replacement power supplies and it looks like I can buy a replacement off-the-shelf for $100-$125. I'm fine with that.
I can buy a NETGEAR branded power supply, the RND4PSU1-10000S, from one of several vendors:

http://www.pcconnectionexpress.com/IPA/Shop/Product/Detail.htm?sku=8182865
http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B000W3X480/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new
Before I go through the hassle of buying one of these units and trying it out, I want to check with the ReadyNAS community to confirm that this unit will work for me. Thanks in advance.

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThe Infrant ReadyNAS 600 is long out of warranty and is not affected by the Service Action I mentioned in my post just above yours.
So you've had a PSU failure?
For the 600 take a look at http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=18694 - tkevansApprenticeI presume it's a PSU failure: Reboot left everything dark (no LED's lit); power button does nothing; fan isn't spinning. Jiggled it a bit, and the lights came on, but didn't stay.
Thanks for the reference. I've found several sources for these on line. Going price seems to be $129. - tkevansApprenticeJust to complete this thread: I found an "ENHANCE ENP-2222F 220 Watt TFX 12V Power Supply Slim microATX P4 Rady Chyang Fun" for my old Infrant ReadyNAS 600 on eBay for $129. This fixed my problem.
