principle capacity rn104 ReadyNas 100 series Hard Disk
hi
I have a disc of 4 Tb. another one of 3 Tb. at the most I can put in my rn104
Hi,
I believe that the RN104 and other NAS's in that range support drives up to 8TB in capacity.
Note, that by default RAID is used, so unless you have done something to change that, do not expect the final capacity of your NAS to simply be the sum of all your drives. I think, that when RAID is active, you can expect to "lose" 1 drive of capactity as a "RAID tax" (thank you StephenB for a very apt term). Things get a bit more complicated when you start mixing drives of different capacities.
