Pro2 and Firewall
Hello, We are interested in purchasing the Pro2 to synch with Egnyte. However, we have a firewall with VPN installed on it. To access our network, people use VPN. I'm not sure how the Pro2 will be ...

Hi dgustafson,
OLC can still sync to Egnyte by allowing the NAS IP to connect via HTTPS. I’m assuming HTTPS connection isn't blocked, but if it is, simply allow the NAS IP to connect over HTTPS. If Barracuda Backup storage is allowed to send data offsite, the ReadyNAS device should be allowed to do the same. Users that are outside of the office won’t have to VPN to the NAS as they can connect directly to the Egnyte cloud file server to access data.
