Pro6 Fan Issue
Hi There!
My Pro6 seems to have developed a problem with the fan, where every few minutes it will power up and power down almost incessantly. I am not sure how to start diagnosing the issue, but I am wondering if it's a known problem with a known solution. Sadly the unit is outside of it's warranty.
I am not sure if it's overheating but with it's frequency I'd imagine not.
Any help appreciated.

The Pro Pioneer Edition and Ultra 6 Plus have three year warranties.
Are you sure that it is out of warranty? - networknAspirantThanks, this was an ex-demo unit and doesn't have a warranty any longer. I am hoping it might be a known issue with a known solution I can try and fix myself, or work around.
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredOpen up the case and clean out the dust. You probably need to replace the fan. Should be able to get one with the right specs fairly cheaply.
