This is why a new firmware is needed to clean up.

Can you explain what that means?
What do you need to clean up?
If you have a problem with an NAS, seek help in the appropriate section.

If you are talking about a router, there is nothing to clean up. ReadyCloud is dead.

Today there are dysfunctional controls and software that doesn't work but still consume some system resources, and maybe even longer term some security risks.
There should be an update that fully removes the ReadyCloud service from the NAS, and also removes the ReadyCloud users (today left-over ReadyCloud accounts on the NAS cannot be removed or edited, as attempts to do that are redirected to the removed ReadyCloud site).
Not related to ReadyCloud, but another cleanup needed on app install, to account for archival of Debian 8 archives.
Both are easy for Netgear to do, and would be very helpful for a number of ReadyNAS owners.

ReadyCloud has always been a bit of a mess in that regard, since the service included both routers and NAS. There have always been ReadyCloud+router issues posted in the NAS forum area, and some NAS+ReadyCloud issues posted in the router areas.
