ReadyNAS® Pro vs ReadyNas Ultra Plus ??
What exactly are the differences between these two?? I see lots of info on the Ultra and Ultra Plus but less info on the Pro. Thx !!

Yes, all the latest ReadyNAS devices are x86-based.
If I am understanding you correctly, I will have to snap each volume on the pro, and then run a backup job of those snaps to the NV. Is there a way to just schedule the snaps and after the snap is comlete, have those snaps replicate over to the NV?
Running backups on the snapshots is the generally preferred way to avoid inconsistency from changing data during the snapshot. And you can schedule the backups off the snapshots to the NV.
Is there additional software that I will have to purchase to snap and replicate?
Snapshot does not require an additional purchase, but you'll need to purchase a business-class ReadyNAS (i.e. Pro Series). If you want real replication (see http://www.readynas.com/replicate), there is a cost associated with purchasing a key for ReadyNAS Replicate.
