ReadyNAS® Pro vs ReadyNas Ultra Plus ??
What exactly are the differences between these two??
I see lots of info on the Ultra and Ultra Plus but less info on the Pro.

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThe Ultra 6 doesn't even max out a gigabit connection so LACP would probably just provide the benefit of failover if it were available.
It does make a performance difference on the Pro Business, but you need multiple client machines or a single client machine with a SSD and/or RAID array to notice it. - KorkyAspirant

Just opened my ReadyNAS Ultra 6 plus, and to my surprise found a E5300 (2.6 GHz processor) and not the advertised E2160 1.8Ghz CPU !

Not good for me if the only reason I opened it was to upgrade the processor. Had already gone to the trouble of purchasing the same E5300 processor from eBay :oops:
you can imagine the look on my face.....screw driver in one hand and paste in the other !
only joking :neener: - lesson learned? next time you go to upgrade something, be sure of what you already have first :)
