ReadyNas 10200 No Disk Temperature for WD Reds

I have just bought a ReadyNas 10200 running S/W 6.4.1 (the latest at the time of writing), popoulated it with a couple of WD RED WD20EFRX 2TB disks and attached to my network with the main computer running Win 8.1 and the other running Win 7.

The two drives show temps of 24 and 25 degC on the System - Performance page but when I 'hover' on the two drives in the System - Volumes page, the disk temperature on both drives reads -1. Is this a software bug? If so will Netgear be addressing the problem.

I see the same thing with my WD30EFRX in my RN102, and also with the WD60EFRX in my RN202. Also, sometimes the temp on the system performance page shows up as blank.

This is not new behavior, and it would be nice if it were fixed.

  Thanks for the heads up on thgat Stephen. I am not over excited about it, but I am a believer thgat if something is there, it should work.
  Is it all drives, or just the WD ones that exhibit this 'feature'?

    I only have WD Reds in my OS6 NAS, so I don't know about other drives.
    
    I believe that this is a glitch in the SMART stats query.
