There's more than one way to set this up, so you will need to figure out what your predecessor did.
ReadyCloud is enabled on the cloud page of the NAS, and managed from http://readycloud.netgear.com
Though of course you can use a VPN hosted by your router - which is what I do myself.
It is also possible to deploy ZeroTier (which is done with an app on the NAS). That would be managed at https://my.zerotier.com
