ReadyNAS 314 - no internet connection

Based on your symptoms, I am thinking that NTP time sync is also failing.
If you aren't using some form of link aggregation in the NAS network settings, you should only connect one of the two ethernet connections to your router. So try disconnecting one of them.
Also, check the DNS settings in the NAS network configuration. You might try removing your ISP's DNS entry, and putting in 8.8.8.8 (Google's public DNS) or 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare's public DNS).
And if you aren't using ipv6 on your home network, I suggest disabling ipv6 in the NAS network settings.

One ethernet cable removed, IPv6 disabled on remaining connection. Restarted NAS, now visible in ReadyCloud (browser and iOS), has synchronised file changes.
No change to DNS settings.
