ReadyNAS 4200 - can't access Boot Menu
Recently acquired a ReadyNAS 4200. I believe it's version 1. 12 bay SATA connections. It wouldn't boot when turning it on. I would just get a blank black screen w/ blinking cursor. I've read to us...

The ReadyNAS can't read ExFAT. The intenal flash drive continas more than just the same inage as youan download. What you need is a USB recovery to re-write the internalflash from an external one. But how you get there when you can't access the boot menu, I'm not sure. An OS6 machine will just do it automatically, but I don't think a 4.2.x machine will, though you could try it.

Thank you. I'll try sticking the original flash drive in as I didn't alter that, and see what it does. When I initially had it in, that's when I would get the blank screen w/ the blinking cursor.
