Hello...
Thx for your response...
I already checked the cradle and it supports up to 4 TB according to the tech support...
Will take a look at sgdisk...
Can you make a litte suggestion how to use?!
Havent heard about that yet...
EDIT: Played around with it but it also just shows me the 746.5 GiB
And somehow it seems that it is not writing the info to the drive...everytime i do the commands it does the same output...
Thx!!

Hello...Checked around with that tool sgdisk
Here the output that it gives me with the 3TB drive:
CEANAS:~# sgdisk -p /dev/sdg Creating new GPT entries. Disk /dev/sdg: 1565565872 sectors, 746.5 GiB Logical sector size: 512 bytes Disk identifier (GUID): 6D0A9B32-E8E6-4BC7-A565-52F643C7DC27 Partition table holds up to 128 entries First usable sector is 34, last usable sector is 1565565838 Partitions will be aligned on 2048-sector boundaries Total free space is 1565565805 sectors (746.5 GiB)
Smart hinggegen gibt das aus:

Not at all...
And sorry for the german infront of the second Quote...sometimes i fall back to home...smile
I have not the slightest idea why it is only showing/detecting these 746 gib...
The smart shows the drive and its size correct, but not the protition tools i tried so far...
fdisk failed on it...and your sgdisk is alo not able to see the bigger drive...
Even that it seems to unerstand GPT...
Is there any tool, that can do that?!
Or is there a way to apt-get any modern packages to this old jessie?
