ReadyNAS detects
I got today my replacement for the issue described here (viewtopic.php?f=64&t=67601). The ReadyNAS reboots now, but detects both 3 TB disc drives as 1 GB ones.

A firmware update is available.
Version: 4.2.20
Once the Resync is done I will perform a upgrade from RAIDiator hopefully this will solve the issue. But why the hell is Netgear sending out replacement units with a old firmware? It seamed they changed the serial number from the device, so that it fits the old one, but there was no time to update the firmware???
Edit:
4.2.15 was released 2 years ago ...

The latest firmware is actually 4.2.22 (http://www.readynas.com/RAIDiator_x86_4_2_22_Notes). I'd recommend doing a factory reset (wipes all data, settings, everything) after updating the firmware.
There are multiple possible reasons for getting the old firmware:
1. The unit may have been refurb'd some time ago
2. Some users want to stay on 4.2.15 or earlier however you can't downgrade to that after updating the firmware. I'd argue now though that it's been long enough (4.2.15 is over 2 years old now) that they should ship newer firmware on the RMA units. Particularly as users should be running newer firmware than that.
If they did update the serial on the unit they should have updated the firmware too. Would've just taken a few minutes or so to do.
