- InterClawAspirantI'm not sure of the process guys, but I think the Jedis need to test the hardware themselves before it can be put on the HCL. When something makes the list Netgear pretty much guarantees it will work for you. That's a tough statement to make based on the input of a few users.
Don't get me wrong, your input is very valuable, but I wouldn't expect updates to the list based on it alone.
Just my two cents... :) - kcrossleyAspirant

I'd have to agree. The list seems pretty dated. None of the newer drives, especially those with 64MB caches, are on the list. I'm interested in four WD1002FAEX or a HD31000IDK/7K for my NV+, but neither are listed.
What's up Netgear? When will the HCL be updated? - cuccuredduAspirant

Well, the note about the Back-ups CS 500 not being compatible says "reported by mash". Is mash a Jedi who tested the unit or just another user who posted? - InterClawAspirant

I don't remember a character from Star Wars called mash, but what do I know. Perhaps user input could class something incompatible, but Jedis need to class it as compatible? Moderators here are at the top. Maybe they need to answer your question fully. - jbentham84AspirantHow do I add to this list? I just got an APC J10 (Home theater ups, and power conditioner) and it works with the NasDuo. Just wanted to let you all know. Thanks!
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThe Community Hardware Compatibility List is a subforum of Hardware and Hardware Compatibility.
The APC section is here: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=88.
If your model is listed post in the existing thread. If not, start a new thread.
Welcome to the forum! - jayarjelyndonAspirantI have heard that name Mash of a character of star wars' game but I can' totally recall. However, I am glad to find you here guys. I am also a star wars' player, and I am an ultimate fan of the star wars' movie.
- t0bakss0nAspirantHi
I own a Readynas NV+ and when I look in the compatibility list for Memory I can't seem to find any alternatives to Neatgears own SO-Dimm memory.
I.e Crucial CT12864X335 (16-Chip 1GB) (Micron’s MT16VDDF12864H) seems to be out of stock or even no longer sold.
My question: If someone of you have a look at Crucials CT12864X40B specs - can you give me an educated guess if they will work or even better does someone use them? If they do not work - can someone direct me to where I can buy 1GB compatible memory within the EU-region (link if this is not against forum rules)?

5 months later, I have basically the same question. I don't see any Constellation series listed at all in the community compatibility list. The Constellations are approved for all the Intel-based products, but not the old Sparc-based ones.schalliol wrote: I was thinking about buying some 2TB Seagate Constellation ST32000644NS drives. ... I see that they are listed as compatible on the ReadyNAS NVX and Pro models, but they are not listed for the NV+. Does anyone know why they might not work in the NV+ or whether they just have not been tested and should likely work? ...
Jedi, please test the Constellation drives with the NV+! If they're known not to work, please let us know!
I understand it's not as much of a priority to test new drives on old hardware, but the ES.2 drives are becoming hard to find. Frankly, even for a 1TB, it's easier to find a Constellation than an ES.2. - schalliolAspirant

I'm still +1!
