I get a similar view as shown in your screenshot, I have my private area and a medai share. I am able to enter either share and am shown the folders in that share. The problem comes attempting to enter a folder that contains files, after x minutes explorer fails to enter the folder and therefore doesn't display the folder contents.
I have subversion installed on the NAS I also have my iTunes library on the NAS. Using the explorer in both iTunes and eclipse I am able to navigate the folders on the NAS correctly.
I have just tried the Windows explorer again, and I am able to navigate the NAS folders as expected. This is the first time in three weeks I have been able to do it. I shall monitor this over the next few days. Something has changed or is different to suddenly have explorer working.
