ReadyNAS Duo Setup web page not loading after uppdate
A system update was performed on my ReadyNAS Duo, Radiator Sparc 4.1.16. The update was for Samba CVE-2017-7494. When the NAS was rebooted, the Setup webpage is no longer available! The framework is dispalyed, but there is no data. The top right corner shows, "ReadyNAS null", attached should be a screenshot.
Without this I'm unable to perform any adminstration activities!
How can I get the webpage back? I've tried accessing this page on two different PCs and rebooted the NAS a couple of times.
Having done more searches in the forum, this is a know problem when updating the firmware!
The solution is in the following thread:
Re-installing PHP add-on, apache is working again, so it the access to the FrontView, phew!

I'm able to use putty to login to the NAS. The following is reported in /var/log/frontview/error.log:
[warn] RSA server certificate CommonName (CN) `192.168.125.68' does NOT match server name!?
PHP Fatal error: Unable to start curl module in Unknown on line 0

That's a warning to make sure you selected the right IP address. If you never got that before, I'm not sure why you'd get it after an update.

Perhaps the PHP version you have is not compatible with the new OS version? Try an OS re-install and see if that fixes it. Be sure not to accidently do a Factory Default, which will wipe the data.
I've seen that basic symptom due to corrupted SMB configuration, whihc is also often fixed by an OS re-install. What apps are you running that might have modified them?

Hi Sandshark,
Thanks for the reply. I've noticed that apache2 isn't starting and when I restart manually it's still not working correctly. I had radiator 4.1.14 installed, then as soon as I installed v4.1.16 yesterday, the access to Frontview has stopped along with the access to my webserver pages running on the NAS. I did see that v4.1.16 was an update to Samba, do you know whcih version of PHP it requires? I have PHP5 installed, don't know which subversion. I get the error about curl when trying to run php5. How can I install an up-to-date version of PHP?
