The Pro 2 has everything the Ultra 2 Plus has plus more. Personally I'd go with the Pro 2.
I think it's just ReadyDROP which isn't on x86 (not sure). I can see Remote ReadyNAS advertising Time Machine but haven't tried backing up to a Remote NAS.
