ReadyNAS Duo v2 wont play nice with WD Green 3TB drives
Any help appreciated. Bought a new ReadyNAS RND2000 Duo V2 last week and installed two WD 30EZRX SATA 3 64 m HDDs. The ReadyNAS initialised the disk and brought up the wizard screen to configure system and everything seems to be going fine that is until I restart the system. Then the ReadyNAS starts the process all over again with no prompting from me. Does this sound like a disk compatibility problem? If so, can someone recommend one of the home systems that is compatible with 3 tb drives. Thanks

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserThe duo V2 does support 3 TB drives, and the WD30EZRX is on the HCL (http://www.readynas.com/?page_id=82)
I suggest you call support - you have 90 days phone support after purchase. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThis sounds like an issue where the disks are locked. If the disks are locked and not unlocked then the NAS will initiate a factory default each time the NAS is rebooted.
