ReadyNAS NV to ???
Lots of growth and I think we are slamming our ReadyNAS NV unit with 50 people mapped to it (probably about 20-25 heavy users). Can I get a suggestion of what model would be good for serving up files ...
If you are currently using the NV in an office space occupied by people, that location will be good for the Pro 4 or 6, but if you go to a rackmount unit, you will want to put it in a space not occupied by people (perhaps the utility closet where the network/telephone distribution panels are). The fans are designed for cooling not noise abatement so are noted as being noisy.
