ReadyNAS NV+

The price is definitely right. 8)
The NV+ is a good little unit, albeit a bit long in the tooth when compared to some of the newer model NASes out there. Performance is about 25-30 MB/s when using CIFS/SMB. If using rsync to backup, the CPU will be a limiting factor when performing delta calculations, so backups may take longer than expected when compared to x86-based devices.

If you're just looking for a device that can capably backup your data, then the NV+ will do the job.
If you're looking for high-end performance (80-100+ MB/s throughput) and have the NAS perform other media-related functions (streaming, ReadyNAS Photos 2, etc.) then you'll need to look at the Ultra or Pro.
