ReadyNAS NV+
I have a ReadyNAS NV+ [X-RAID]
and I would like to set up shares that I can access over the web from another location.
I have tried readycloud at https://readycloud.netgear.com/client/index.html but it can not discover my NAS .
I have then tried RAIDAR as the page suggest and have this installed but I cant seem to get any further with this software other then it listing my NAS.
I am out of date with my net gear support so I have not been able to get far with them. They gave me a link for the now unsupported ready remote software but they gave me a windows install file and I am on a MAC
I am not sure what my options are here, or even how to find out if I am NV+ v1 or v2.
What models are comparable with ready cloud?
What other options do I have if not ready cloud?
thanks in advance

You need to use ReadyNAS Remote.
Read this article to find out if you have a v1 or v2: http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how-to-tell-whether-i-have-a-duo-v1-or-duo-v2-or-nv-v1-or-nv-v2/ - lozdogAspirantThanks
I am on v1
my OS is 10.9.5 but I do have older macs on the network
Id like to use readyNAS remote but I can only find a windows version of the software, does anyone know where you can find a mac version? - NhellieVirtuosoReadyCloud only works for OS6 units. Check this thread below, other users have requested for the software installers as well:
