ReadyNAS Pro: System temp running out of spec
In the last weeks I did have several times where the CPU temp ran out of spec. What's annoying to me is that the cpu fan runs at maximum 1506 rpm?! Shouldn't it rotate much higher to avoid temp runnin...

wait a sec- before we disregard this completely- i've got to chime in and also say i've had the same behavior. right now, on a pro with 4 1 tb drives running 4.2.13 just upgraded, i'm seeing the system fan never exceed 1000 RPM's. it usually runs about 900 RPM since the last two firmware updates, which means i get a temp warning about once a week.
i don't see this with my CPU temp, because that fan consistently runs at about 2000 RPM.
Until updating the firmware over the past two month cycle, i've never received any temp warnings at all- and i don't recall the system fan running that low. i know it's bigger, which means lower RPMs, but this seems too slow.
can anyone chime in on this thread and share your Pro fan RPM's running 4.2.13? Jedi's? this is with two drive bays empty as well mind you...
