ReadyNas Pro won't power down
I have 2 ReadyNas Pro 6 devices, one of them has been acting up. Both are configure the same but one will not power down, it shuts down but then it reboots. I unplug the power from the device between the shutdown and reboot phase it is obviously off but when I plug he power back in the power button on the front of the unit does not function, no response. After about 1/2 hour it boots up and functions as the other device.
Anybody have a similar issue? I'm wondering if I wipe the device and start over the problem would go away, problem is I have about 5TB of data on it..
Any ideas?
Thanks
Gary

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredWhat version of RAIDiator is on the device that is having the problem?
- sdboscoAspirantRAIDar version 4.2.22 but the RAID was created under an earlier version about 2-3 years ago not sure what version was the latest at that time. It also worked fine after I upgraded to 4.2.22 it just stopped shutting down one day. Also didn't mention before, once I plug power back in no response when pushing the power button but the ethernet ports are blinking like crazy.... then all of a sudden the (in about 1/2 hour) the fan starts up and boot process starts. Also makes no difference using RAIDar under windows or Mac OS X
