Readynas RNDX4210 no volumes

I recently aquired a Readynas from my mother and am trying to get it set up. I currently have 3x TB Toshiba HDWD130 hard drives. All drives are brand new and show healthy and online. Running RAIDiator4.2.31. When I try to add a new backup job it says that no volume exists.

 

log:

 

"Volume scan failed to run propperly"

 

"the paths for the shares listed below could not be found. Typically, this occures when ReadyNAS is unable to access the data volume. media backup"

      If you mean the disk hardware compatibility list ( https://kb.netgear.com/20641/ReadyNAS-Hard-Disk-Compatibility-List ), then you first enter "legacy" and then enter "ReadyNAS NVX" in the second pulldown.

       

      Your Toshiba drives aren't listed.  Though the list hasn't been updated for quite a while, and many newer disks will work. 

       

      Are you able to access the shares from Windows File Explorer?  Or see them in the share list in the Frontview?

        I am able to login to the admin page through RAIDar. I am using the RAIDar utility 6.3.0. It states the Firmware is 4.2.31. If i attemp to access the shares through RAIDiator, i t brings up the same message "no volumes exist"

         

        If i try to acces it through windows it staes "backup is not accessable. you might not hame permission to use this network resource. Contact administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. No network provider accepted the given network path."
