try creating the shares manually on the ultra-4, and then use the frontview backup facility on the ultra to copy the data. You can do this share by share. I suggest running one backup job at a time (frontview will let you run them all in parallel, but personally I think it is better not to do that).

NFS is the fastest protocol for copying NAS to NAS, so you might want to enable it on the duo and the ultra first.
