readynasduo new disks but old size
i have started to run into the 1tb size (2* 1tb discs) and bought 2* 2tb discs. replacing and resyncing them one by one worked fine and all data is now on new discs but somehow they only have 1tb space: listed as Seagate ST2000DM006-2DM164 [1862 GB] but with 927 GB allocated
i did check the compatbility list before buying but ended up with a slight variance that is not listed: Seagate ST2000DM006-2DM164. is it that or did i miss something when swapping discs?
thanks for your help

What firmware are you running?
Try rebooting the duo, and see if that triggers the vertical expansion.

i have started a resync. wait of reboot? firmware is RAIDiator 4.1.15 [1.00a043]

Wait for the resync to complete, then reboot. Wait a bit, and if you see no expansion beginning, then reboot again. BTW, hovering your mouse over the disk icon on the home page will give you some additional status (as will RAIDar).
Normally the v1's do need a reboot to initiate the vertical expansion step. Usually they prompt for it, but not always.
If this still fails, you can of course back up the data, do a factory reset, reconfigure the NAS, and then restore the data from the backup. Brute force, but there are sometimes performance benefits if you start with a clean slate.
