RN102 Compatibility with Seagate ST3750330AS
The power supply on my older RND2175 has died.
Having trouble finding a replacement chasis.
I have 2 Seatgate ST3750330AS drives.
Will they work in a RN102 ??
Will they work in a RND2150 ??
Thanks,
Dave

Another option is to get a new power brick.

You cannot migrate your data to any of the newer NAS (OS 4.2 or OS 6) on your own. Netgear support can mount the data volume on the new NAS, so you can copy the data off. http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/29875/~/readynas%3A-migrating-disks-from-raidiator-to-os-6?cid=wmt_netgear_organic

They will work in other ReadyNAS that run OS 4.1.x firmware. These are all long obsolete, so anything you can find would likely be used.
You do need to be careful that you get a 4.1.x(NV+, duo) sparc platform, and don't accidentally get a 4.2 (ultra, pro) or 5.x.x (nv+ v2, duo v2) platforms. Distinguishing between duo v1 and v2 platforms is pretty tricky, there is a guide here: http://www.rnasguide.com/2012/01/09/how-to-tell-whether-i-have-a-duo-v1-or-duo-v2-or-nv-v1-or-nv-v2/
FWIW the Readynas desktop v1 product naming conventions were RNDXYZZ. X is the number of bays, Y is the number of disks sold with the products and ZZ is the size of those disks.
So RND2000 would be a diskless Duo, RND2150 was sold with 1 500 GB drive, R2175 was sold with 1 750 GB drive.
