RN104 and Virgin Hub 5
Hi, I've had my RN104 Nas for years without issue. I recently switched to Virgin broadband having been with Sky for years.
At first I was given an older Virgin hub, plugged it in and the Nas worked without any config needed. The hub was terrible for WiFi range so they gave me a new hub 5, it works great but not with the Nas.
The Nas is not recognised by the hub and the Nas says "No IP address".
The Nas is set to DHCP and I can connect to it via Raidar, connecting direct to my laptop. I have tried reloading the OS on the Nas 3 times, I've tried different ports and network cables on the hub and Nas and tried a static IP. I still just get the "No IP address message".
Please help.

This could be the ethernet link isn't working for some reason, it also could be some issue with the DHCP server.
You could try setting a static IP address on the NAS when it is directly connected to your PC, and then see if you can access it when you switch the ethernet to the hub. You can set that address on the second NIC interface, and leave the first interface as it is (or vice versa).
Some routers and switches have "green" ethernet features (reducing the power on the interface). Sometimes older equipment like the RN104 don't work well with that feature. See if there is a feature like that in the web ui. Or if you have a switch, you could also try putting that between the router and the NAS, and see if that resolves it.
