rn314 updated firmware to regain admin password, lost volumes
I have rn 314 6.10.10 firmware 4 hdds 4 tb each. statud shows healthy
It was running happily, but recently because of repeated power failure for some reason (could be related to recent solar flares activiry probably)
I lost the connection to it. could only connect through raider and see it but now logon to it becasue my password stopped working for some reason
so after searching for solution i found out that i can reinstall firmware to reset password and done that.
Now I can access it. but it shows no volumes exist.
and
remove inactive volumes to use the disk disk 1,2,3,4
so
Heeeelp

Likely also related to the power failures.
The message is a bit deceptive - don't remove any volumes.
Download the full log zip from the logs page. If you can't figure out what it means (likely will be the case), you can send them to me and I'll take a look. To do that you
- upload the full zip to cloud storage (dropbox, google drive, etc)
- send me a PM (private message) using the envelope icon in the upper right of the forum page
- include a link to the logs in the PM. Make sure the permissions allow anyone with the link to download them.

Best to get a UPS for the NAS. That will allow it to continue running during short power failures. More importantly, the NAS will be able to shut down cleanly when the UPS battery drains.
