RN31400 Power Adapter #25564575
Hello,
I'm after a replacement power adapter for a NetGear RN31400, the same as what is in the link below.
http://r.ebay.com/BE8Zvd
Any advice is appreciated.

Did you try Netgear support? If you are the original purchaser they should replace it if it failed.
All RN314 should still be under warranty.

Yes I have, and because I purchased it second hand the warranty is non-transferable which is ridiculous.
On top of that they can't even provide me with advice on where to purchase a replacement adapter.

They really should sell some replacement parts.
Seems to me that someone from Netgear should be able to provide a link to an adapter that is compatible. 12v 7.5a isn't that rare, the main issue is making sure the output cable is compatible and has the right polarity.

Hello tranqme,
Unfortunately NETGEAR only provides warranty to the original owner of the product that is why they require sales invoice issued by the authorized reseller when authorizing replacement. They do not provide any support nor warranty to refurbished and pre-owned units, that's also why registration is non-transferrable unless it is proven that you have purchased the product from the reseller as brandnew/unused and sealed.
You might want to check at NETGEAR Australia online resellers, perhaps they can sell power supply for your ReadyNAS 314. The part code of the power supply 12VDC,7.5A is 332-10581-01, some resellers use this part code.
I hope this helps.

Netgear support supplied me with the same part code, although a thorough Google search has not been successful in finding one.
I don't understand why getting a replacement adapter is so difficult, surely this is a common part and should be easily obtainable.

Hi tranqme,
A complete package always comes with a PSU, if you buy a second hand/pre-owned unit, PSU should also be included, if the any part has problems that needs replacement there is really no warranty from the manufacturer. We apologize but you are at your own risk buying any unit from unauthorized resellers.
Try checking with resellers, do not use just the part numebr but ask exactly about the PSU.
Regards,
