RN528 Bond interface bond0 has slave interface eth0 offline
This keeps happening, started two weeks ago and happens 20 times per day:
“Bond interface bond0 has slave interface eth0 offline.“
RN528 and RN214 are both bonded through switch XS716E using LACP, connected to a desktop PC with dual Intel 10GB LAN also with LACP. System has been working perfectly for a year, and just started having this issue out of the blue. Latest NAS firmware 6.10.2 on bot NAS machines. Read every community post on this, don’t see any plausible explanation or answer since I’m running newest FW and all was working great for many months. How to diagnose this???

How to diagnose this???Have you downloaded the log zip file, and looked in there? network_settings.log has the packet statistics - I'd expect to see errors in system.log and kernel.log when the problem occurs. Perhaps look at the network stats on the switch.
As a test you could try breaking the bond, and just using eth0. Then see if the interface works reliably that way.
FWIW, I'd be surprised if bonding gives you a performance boost when you are already running 10GBaseT. Are you using SSDs?

- Thanks, I looked at the “logs” tab (not a zip file though??), doesn’t say anything useful. I’m not sure where to fetch that zip file from. With dual ETH on both PC and NAS the speed is closer to 2 Gbps than 1 Gbps so there is some benefit. Also, as noted this has been Rick solid for a year now. Nothing has been physically moved, just OS upgrades as they come along. Sorry, yes Both NAS’s are on 6.10.3. I can tear down the bonding but it was some learning/work to get it configured and stable, hate to go through that again. Frustrating.
