I have an NV+ with a serial number that falls within the premature PSU failure range. Today I found the unit powered off, and I am unable to turn it back on. No alert e-mails were sent, the unit does not have a bad smell, and the LEDs do not illuminate at all. It looks like the power supply has failed. I guess I will call NETGEAR phone support to get a replacement.
I am fairly certain I performed the fan reversal procedure. If I did, do I need to undo this procedure while installing the replacement power supply? Where are the instructions for this procedure? The original link (http://www.infrant.com/download/Enhance ... lation.pdf) does not work.
Also, should I be installing the fan speed add-on or is that not applicable for the replacement power supply?
