The heat this weekend appears to have sent my NV+ over the edge. I started to notice "the smell" on Friday then on Sunday afternoon the NAS suddenly rebooted and when it came back online one of my disks was down (it's dead and is being RMA'd not sure if the failure was related to the PSU failure or not) then while I was syncing a replacement disk the unit shut off by itself (all the lights and fans went off but the LCD screen stayed on oddly) upon investigation I found the thread on here about the PSU failures and sure enough my unit falls right in the middle of that range of unit. Netgear is sending me a new PSU and I should have it tomorrow. Do I need to do anything additional to the unit other than the requisite replacement of the PSU?
