sizing 516 volume/raid choice
Since the os6 seems to have stabilized I am shopping for a 516. I have a couple of questions about volume /raid configurations. If I go with a raid 6 will I have the capacity of 3 drives for volumes...

Raid 6 needs at least 4 disks as 2 are for redundancy.
Six 1tb drives would give you a volume of about 3.7 tb, it's not quite 1tb per disk.
Xraid is expandable. Horizontally if you have an available slot and vertically if you have bigger disks to put in.
Note that with raid 6 you'd need to upgrade 4 disks to expand the volume.
