Spinpoint F4 HD204UI 2TB 5400 RPM working good so far

Wow that was fast, but I haven't made a DOS boot disk in forever. lol I suppose a dos boot flash drive would be the way to go. Anyone know if I could get the patch to find the drive in an eSATA docking station in that environment? Otherwise, I'll hafta play musical SATA ports.

You shouldn't have to format it beforehand, but maybe afterwards. I would definitely assume, tho, that the drive gets wiped.

You must have grabbed the wrong file. It should be an executable.

NCQ is supported in ACHI only, so IDE mode is definitely not affected by this bug. I would consider ignoring the problem if I could verify the ReadyNAS is in IDE mode and not liable to change in the future.
